Ruben and his team did an amazing job installing our patio. The customer service was impeccable from start to finish. You know when you’re spending a lot of money on a project, it’s scary to put your trust in a company with whom you have no history with. But, I am so glad we took a leap of faith and decided to go with this company. Because they are honest, reliable, and knowledgeable on their workmanship and really treat you like your important. I couldn’t find any company that would come to Stafford to install Nicolock pavers and they just knocked it out of the park and did a superb job.

Ruben and his team installed a patio with firepit along with a lighted fieldstone staircase into our backyard hillside and finished it off with landscaping. He had to remove a couple of trees to accommodate the project as well as mitigate drainage issues and in all regards he and his team were professional, skilled, courteous, communicated well and had vision. This was a big project for us and his quote for the job was reasonable and fair. Highly recommend and would have full confidence in any service his company provides.

I was very happy with Ruben and his team. I would give them 6 stars if that was a choice.
I have a hill in my backyard, which slopes down onto my deck. I needed a retaining wall to stop my dog from pushing all the dirt on the hill down onto the deck. Ruben installed a beautiful 23inch wall (one inch below the height requiring HOA approval, at my request). He also installed a stepping stone walkway from my fence gate to my deck. I checked in periodically to watch the work on the wall, and everything was done carefully and professionally - like they were building a wall for their own yards. They installed drainage behind the wall and then put sod behind the wall where they had to dig out the drainage space (sod is not in the attached picture).
The team also removed tree stumps and various remnants of bushes from another part of the hill that used to be covered in bushes, dirt, and Ivy (much of which I had been working to remove). They cleared everything out, graded the hill, and then installed sod.
Why six stars? Because Ruben and the team took on a few additional tasks with a smile (and at no extra charge). I hadn’t turned my sprinklers on before the sod was installed, so Ruben turned them on for me, and repaired one of the sprinklers - now I can use the sprinkler system to water the sod instead of a hose.
The morning they were grading the hill, I mentioned that I had a downspout extender I was intending to install and bury before they did the work, and asked if his team could do it for me. Again, they agreed without any hesitation. Really terrific.
I have already hired them again to do some cosmetic hardscaping in the front yard. Very happy with their work.

I found Ruben and his team from Garcia's Landscaping on Home Advisor. We had just moved into a home that had a virtual mud pit for a backyard - not a single blade of grass. I submitted a request for a quote on Sunday night, Ruben came out to do the estimate the next morning (Monday), and by 10am Wednesday I had a beautiful lawn completely installed. Ruben even removed yard waste for me including wood scraps, concrete pavers drainage pipes, etc. as well as removing some stumps. The sod pallet was delivered the night prior and the crew showed up on time as promised the morning of our appointment. Ruben was a pleasure to work with and offers a very competitive rate for sod that he sources from Maryland. His team was prompt and professional; polite and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't have asked for an easier or faster process. The turnaround was really unbelievable and the quality of work was great.

This is the second time that we have used Garcia’s Landscaping and Remodeling services because of our outstanding first experience with them. This time, we asked Ruben to build us a paver patio behind our house. Just like the first time, Ruben focused on our goals and made recommendations that turned out to be on point. We asked Ruben to build a 12x18 paver patio, and he suggested that we consider also building a sitting wall. We took his advice, and that sitting wall is now the centerpiece of our interactions with our patio. I’ve included photos to show the outcome. Ruben and his team did a fantastic job on a few projects this year. In the spring, Ruben removed some trees, redid landscaping in our backyard (planting flowers, trees, bushes), put in a couple stone walls and installed an irrigation system. This fall he installed sod, fencing, extended our back patio, put in a new stone walkway and raised beds. Ruben is always responsive. I requested estimates from four different landscaping companies to fix a landscape drainage problem. Ruben Garcia provided the most reasonable price by providing a different approach from the others. Because of his decades of experience in the landscaping business, he was able to look at (what I thought was) a very flat yard and suggest a path that took advantage of the terrain to naturally drain from the low-lying spots to the driest. He was quickly available for an estimate, and his crew was on the job in a couple of days. They were fast, efficient, and carefully avoided disturbing the existing vegetation (except for some weeds that they removed). The Garcia family keeps a careful eye on the work that the crew performs and is very responsive to any questions the customer might have. I highly recommend this business.

The Garcia's Landscaping team did extensive work cleaning our flowerbeds, pruning and laying down mulch. They also repaired our sprinkler system and upgraded us to a new controller.
